Ideal for the house and the pool

Terafest® WPC boards are designed for outdoor use— at houses, swimming pools, on balconies, garden paths, footbridges, piers of ponds or on stairs. They are versatile and can withstand heavy operating loads; you can use them for private residential projects as well as for commercial buildings. All ranges of Terafest® boards increase the building’s sustainability rating according to the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) methodology.

Advantages of WPC

Forget maintenance

Unlike wooden terraces, Terafest® WPC boards are virtually maintenance-free. No sanding or painting, just occasional washing with a garden hose or a mop. WPC boards have “self-cleaning” abilities, which are supported by a slight slope of the terrace (about 1 cm per meter of length), although even this is not essential.

Terafest® is more durable than tropical wood. A properly installed composite wood decking board will last many years (the manufacturer gives a 25-year warranty).

Another advantage is the formability of this material. WP- containing PVC cannot be shaped in this way. Terafest® can be bent with heat, so atypical terrace shapes or bent facades are no problem.

In any case, it is a good idea to check your choice with an expert who can draw your attention to details that you might not otherwise pay attention to, for example, whether there is a canola field around the terrace, which will produce a lot of pollen, or whether there are conifers growing above the terrace, whose needle will be removed from the grooves worse than from a smooth surface. It is also important to think about the location of the terrace so that the annual rings connect properly and the entire terrace looks natural.

IS TERAFEST® WORTH IT?

WPC terrace pricing

The initial cost of Terafest® is higher than that of spruce (or other European wood) or chamber wood-plastic boards. However, if you add to the price of a wooden deck the cost of annual coatings with expensive oils and waxing and the time you will have to spend on maintenance over the life of the WPC deck, the difference in the initial investment will pay you back handsomely.

The price of Terafest® composite wood is around 115 euros/m² (in the classic variant) and 88 euros/m² (in the Economy variant), including the base and connecting material. To this must be added the assembly work and VAT. For a specific price offer, use our terrace calculator or our contact form.
