A newly built family home in West Bohemia seamlessly blends elegance and functionality. A simple yet stylish, partially covered terrace made from Terafest® composite planks enhances the beauty of the house and its surroundings.

Located near the Radbuza River, the homeowners have created a harmonious connection between the modern design of their house and the natural landscape. The clean, white, minimalist lines of the house evoke a First Republic feel, while the soft composite wood terrace provides a seamless transition from large French windows to a contemporary sunken pool, all surrounded by precisely arranged greenery.

The terrace surrounding this home in Stod was recognized as one of the top three installations by WPC – Woodplastic, a leading European manufacturer of wood-polymer composite decking, fencing, and cladding. While larger or more extravagant terraces exist, the strength of Terafest® planks lies in their ability to adapt to any environment, enhancing the overall aesthetic while providing durable, long-lasting functionality.

For their patio, the homeowners chose the Terafest® Forest Plus range of planks, known for its timeless design and distinctive natural texture. The special pigmentation mimics real wood and reduces the visibility of dirt and small debris. Paired with the bright white exterior of the house and the lush green of the garden, the Palisander shade, with its slight reddish hue, offers a perfect visual balance.

The partially covered terrace connects the home’s interior living spaces with the outdoors, creating a natural flow between them. Spanning 140 m², this safe and attractive area is complemented by a simple, elegant pool that perfectly aligns with the terrace’s design. It offers the perfect blend of privacy, nature, and comfort, bringing the best of both indoor and outdoor living together.
