More informationWhat is WOOD-PLASTIC COMPOSITE (WPC)
WPC is a modern eco-friendly composite material composed of wood and polymer, in our case in the ratio of 60% wood and 40% HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene). The main advantage of WPC material is that it retains the best properties of wood while eliminating its problems.
Quality and durability
The quality and durability of WPC products is determined by the proportion and properties of the materials entering the production process, their specification is the subject of patents and the result of many years of research and development. Differences in the quality of the resulting products can be abysmal from one manufacturer to another.
In-house production
In-house production allows us to offer our customers several advantages - higher quality, precision and flexibility of production, high volume production, years of experience and a full range of colours and designs of our products. We use technology patented by Strandex Corp. in the USA to manufacture our products, i.e. „30 years of experience“ and „100,000 miles of boards“ worldwide.
Principle of production
The principle of production is the combination of wood fibres or wood flour with HDPE polymer. Additional materials enter the production process, which are volumetrically imperceptible and help the seamless bonding of the two materials. The joining process (extrusion, extrusion, compression) takes place at elevated temperatures and the final profile is achieved by extruding the material through a nozzle of the desired shape. This is followed by cooling and final surface finishing of the product.
